This policy explains what personal information Converxio collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can do about it. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
In this policy, “we”, “us” and “Converxio” mean Converxio, a Meta advertising business operating in Australia. You can reach us any time at hello@converxio.io.
What we collect
We only collect what we need to answer you and run the work.
- Information you give us. When you submit an enquiry form, book a call, or email us: your name, email address, phone number, business type, current ad spend range, and whatever you write in the message field.
- Booking information. If you book a call, our scheduling provider collects your name, email, timezone and the answers to any booking questions.
- Technical and usage information. Standard web data such as IP address, browser and device type, referring page, the pages you visit on this site, and how long you spend on them.
- Advertising identifiers. Cookies and similar identifiers set by the Meta pixel, described below.
We do not collect sensitive information as the Privacy Act defines it, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. This is a business-to-business service.
Why we collect it
- To reply to your enquiry and, if it goes that way, to quote and deliver the work.
- To schedule and run calls with you.
- To measure which of our own marketing actually produces enquiries.
- To improve this website and the services on it.
- To meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.
If you tick the consent box on a form, you are agreeing that we may contact you about your enquiry by email, phone or SMS. You can withdraw that at any time by replying STOP to an SMS, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or emailing us. We will act on it promptly.
Tracking, cookies and the Meta pixel
We run the Meta pixel on this site. It sets cookies and sends Meta information about your visit: pages viewed, and actions such as submitting a form or clicking through to book a call. We use it to measure our advertising and to show ads to people who have visited this site. Meta may match that information to a Facebook or Instagram account and use it under Meta's own privacy policy.
You can limit this. Adjust your Meta ad preferences, block third-party cookies in your browser, or use a content blocker. None of it affects your ability to use this site or to contact us.
We may also run Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage. Where we do, it operates under Google's privacy policy and you can opt out with Google's browser add-on.
This site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address as part of serving those files.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we never share the leads generated for one client with another.
We do use third-party providers to run the business. Each only receives what it needs:
- Formspree: processes and delivers our website enquiry forms.
- Calendly: handles call bookings.
- Meta Platforms: advertising measurement and audiences, via the pixel.
- Google: analytics and font delivery.
- GoHighLevel: our CRM, where enquiries are stored and followed up.
- Our web host, and professional advisers where we are required to disclose something.
Some of these providers store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States. By submitting information you accept that it may be handled overseas, where privacy law may differ from Australian law. We take reasonable steps to use providers that handle information responsibly.
How we store and protect it
Your information is held in access-controlled accounts with the providers listed above, protected by strong authentication. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.
We keep enquiry records for as long as we need them for the purpose they were collected, plus any period the law requires. When we no longer need information, we delete it or de-identify it.
Accessing, correcting or deleting your information
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, or delete it. Email hello@converxio.io and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge for a reasonable request.
We may need to verify who you are first, and there are limited situations where the law lets us decline. If we decline, we will tell you why in writing.
Complaints
If you think we have mishandled your personal information, email hello@converxio.io with the detail and we will investigate and respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can take it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top always reflects the current version. Material changes will be flagged on this page.
